Application Engineer

Conduct value analysis and value engineering activities to optimize product design, improve functionality, and reduce costs. Lead and contribute to the design and development of wiring harness systems for automotive applications.

Requirements

• Conduct value analysis and value engineering activities
• Lead and contribute to the design and development of wiring harness systems
• Utilize CAD tools such as CATIA, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks
• Manage design changes throughout the product development lifecycle
• Generate and release engineering drawings, schematics, and charts
• Participate in all phases of product development
• Utilize PLM software to manage product data, documentation, and revisions
• Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) for assigned projects
• Coordinate changes to the BOM and communicate updates to relevant teams and suppliers
