Job Description
Conduct value analysis and optimize product design, improve functionality, and reduce costs. Lead design and development of wiring harness systems for automotive applications.
Requirements
- Conduct value analysis and value engineering activities
- Lead and contribute to the design and development of wiring harness systems
- Utilize CAD tools such as CATIA, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks
- Manage design changes throughout the product development lifecycle
- Generate and release engineering drawings, schematics, and charts
- Participate in all phases of product development
- Utilize PLM software to manage product data, documentation, and revisions
- Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) for assigned projects
- Coordinate changes to the BOM and communicate updates to relevant teams and suppliers
