Job Description
Aptive is seeking highly qualified Pulmonary and Critical Care Physicians to provide comprehensive medical services to veterans at the Columbia VA Health Care System. This full-time, on-site position involves delivering inpatient and outpatient pulmonary and critical care services, meeting VA guidelines, and participating in on-call rotations. The role requires collaboration with a supportive team and adherence to VA policies.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (or equivalent).
- Valid DEA certification.
- Possess a National Provider Identifier (NPI) and appropriate Taxonomy Code (as issued by CMS NPPES).
- Meet all VA credentialing and privileging requirements, including background checks and ongoing competency assessments.
