Job Description
Aptive is seeking a Health Solutions Proposal Strategist to support the development of proposals, white papers, and presentations for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). This role involves translating business and technical requirements into innovative solutions, articulating value propositions, and leading a team of individuals involved in capturing and proposal development activities. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of the healthcare sector and the ability to apply critical thinking across an opportunity lifecycle.
Requirements
- Strategic thinker with a grasp of healthcare sectors (VA, HHS, Federal Government)
- Experience authoring technical sections in proposals
- Strong understanding of HHS processes/tools
- Experience with government procurement (e.g., PMBOK, Agile)
- Excellent written/oral communication skills
- Ability to work remotely with minimal guidance
- Experience in project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile)
