Job Description
Arcadis is seeking a Consultant Ecologist to contribute to their Environmental team. This role involves ecological surveys, assessments, and providing advice on natural resources, including flora, fauna, and environmental management. The consultant will work on diverse projects across the UK and Europe, supporting project teams with ecological schemes and compliance documentation. They work to protect natural environments and water resources.
Requirements
- Experience in writing Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs)
- Understanding of environmental legislation and policy
- Ability to identify and assess common flora and fauna
- Possession of relevant degree or accreditation
- Member of CIEEM
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to travel
