Job Description
Arcadis is seeking a Senior Mechanical Construction Inspector to join their Water Construction Management team in San Francisco. This role involves reviewing plans and specifications, observing construction activities, ensuring contractor compliance, maintaining quality assurance, and participating in project schedule reviews. The Inspector will be responsible for safety compliance, code compliance, and documentation of non-compliance. They will report to the Resident Engineer and contribute to the successful delivery of sustainable solutions.
Requirements
- 15 years’ experience
- Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Construction Technology, a related field of study, or HS Diploma with Continuing Education, or Certification in Construction
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with mechanical construction inspection activities
- Knowledge of construction codes and safety standards
