Job Description
Arcadis is seeking a Senior Stormwater Transportation Engineer to join their Drainage practice in Baton Rouge or Metairie, Louisiana. The role involves engineering design for roadway drainage projects, including hydraulic studies, culvert design, and erosion control. The company is dedicated to improving quality of life through sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant LADOTD drainage design experience
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET Accredited University
- Florida PE License
- Experience working on LADOTD projects
- In-depth understanding of Bridge Hydraulics Analysis
- Understanding of FEMA floodplain regulations
- Knowledge of stormwater design (open channel and closed drainage)
- Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
