Director of Faith Formation

The Director of Faith Formation is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the religious education program for children and youth within the parish.

Requirements

• Design and implement a comprehensive religious education program for children and youth
• Coordinate sacramental preparation programs, including First Communion, First Reconciliation, and Confirmation
• Recruit, train, and support catechists and aides to deliver the religious education program
• Foster a strong relationship with parents and guardians, providing them with resources and support to nurture their children's faith at home
• Maintain accurate records of student enrollment, attendance, and sacramental preparation
• Develop and manage the PSR budget, ensuring the effective allocation of resources
• Ensure compliance with diocesan policies, including child protection and safe environment requirements
• Coordinate the scheduling of classes, sacramental preparation sessions, and special events
