Middle School English/Social Studies Teacher

Holy Cross Academy is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Full-Time Middle School English/Social Studies Teacher to join our faculty.

Requirements

• Plan and deliver high-quality instruction in English Language Arts and Social Studies aligned with school and Archdiocesan curriculum standards.
• Create a structured, engaging, and supportive classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, creativity, and active learning.
• Integrate Catholic values and perspectives into classroom discussions and learning experiences.
• Assess student progress using a variety of tools and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents, colleagues, and administrators.
• Maintain accurate records, including lesson plans, grades, and student documentation.
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, and other assigned duties.
• Collaborate with the middle school team on curriculum planning, interdisciplinary projects, and school initiatives.
• Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and schoolwide events.
• Model Catholic values and contribute positively to the spiritual life of the school community.
