The Quality Assurance Technician role is a technical position within the Quality organization that supports the implementation and enforcement of the Quality and Food Safety Management System requirements throughout all of the manufacturing process.
Requirements
- 3-5 years food or beverage manufacturing QA experience working in a production environment
- Follow all company policies, cGMP, Food Safety, FDA, USDA, GFSI, FSMA, OHSA Safety regulations, QMS and SOP / SSOPs.
- Strong quality and food safety technical skills and problem solving / organizational skills (cGMPs, basic microbiology including swabbing, IPM, hygienic design, and sanitation).
- Ability to read written Instruction, SOP, SSOP and write production quality reporting on documentation or in computer data base programs
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Strong communication skills including written and verbal communication of technical results
