Job Description
The Writers’ Studio faculty and staff at Arizona State University invite applications for two First-Year Composition Instructor positions for the 2026-2027 academic year. The successful candidates will teach online first-year composition courses and work collaboratively with Writers’ Studio administration and faculty to provide an engaging online learning environment.
Requirements
- Teach asynchronous online First-Year Composition courses for Writers' Studio as assigned by the Faculty Head/School Director
- Contribute to program initiatives in coordination with Instructional Designers and Faculty Head to develop and implement course curriculum
- Apply innovative teaching techniques and deliver excellence in teaching of the defined content for assigned courses
- Maintain active professional development, proficiency with course platform, and related educational tools
