Job Description
The Department of English at Arizona State University invites applications for Instructor positions in the Writing Program. The successful candidates will teach courses in Writing Programs and other disciplinary areas, with a typical full-time course load of five classes per academic semester. Anticipated start dates are August 2025, January 2026, and/or academic year 2026-2027.
Requirements
- MA in Rhetoric and Composition, English Education, Linguistics, Literature, or related discipline
- Evidence of three years’ experience in higher education teaching composition courses and effective teaching
- Evidence of experience in theory and practice within a writing intensive field
