Program Coordinator (Youth Service/Shelter)

The Program Coordinator (Youth Service/Shelter) is responsible for daily operations of the center, including meal preparation, transportation, counseling, and case management. The qualified candidate will provide guidance, supervision, and support to 5 runaway and homeless youth, promote a team environment, and ensure participants' health, safety, and welfare.

Requirements

• Complies with all agency policies, licensing guidelines, and contract deliverables
• Provide practical guidance, supervision, and support to 5 runaway and homeless youth
• Promote a team environment and participate in collaborative problem solving
• Ensure participants' health, safety, and welfare
• Build and maintain staff/participant relationships with appropriate boundaries
• Participate in the development, implementation, and follow-up of participants' goals
• Advocate for participants to ensure most appropriate education, employment, and recreation activities
• Encourage Positive Youth Development and foster participant self-advocacy
• Transport Youth to appointments, school, or other commitments as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
