Medical Science Liaison-Pediatric Endocrinology & Rare Disease (Southern CA)1788

Ascendis Pharma is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to act as the external-facing scientific expert for their endocrine and rare disease programs. This role involves building relationships with key opinion leaders, developing awareness of TransCon technology, and providing medical expertise to healthcare providers. The position is remote and reports to the Field Medical Team leader.

Requirements

• MD/PhD/PharmD or equivalent
• Minimum 5+ years of pharmaceutical experience
• Pediatric endocrinology, endocrinology or rare disease experience preferred
• Outgoing and appreciate the opportunity to interact with healthcare providers and researchers
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Collaborate with a wide range of people
• Ability to work autonomously
• Ability to make decisions
• Ability to create reports and present to internal and external groups
• Must live near major airport hub within geography
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Valid driver’s license in the state of residence
