Job Description
The Children's Librarian position is responsible for planning and implementing children's programming, developing the children's collection, and supervising staff at the Ascension Parish Library in Gonzales.
Requirements
- Master's degree in library science from an ALA accredited library school
- Knowledge of the needs and abilities of children from age 0-18
- Knowledge of children's, youth, and teen literature
- Effective oral and written communication
- Commitment to excellent customer service
