TK Instructional Assistant

Supports classroom teacher(s) in providing a high-quality, personalized education program for students. Develops and implements lesson plans and classroom activities consistent with California State Standards and Aspire Instructional Guidelines. Assists with planning and executing differentiated instruction for students with various needs.

Requirements

• Support developmentally appropriate classroom systems/procedures
• Assess students regularly and analyze assessment data
• Collaborate with Aspire team members to improve instructional practices
• Track critical student information and maintain accurate student records
• Identify unique student needs and collaborate with other team members
• Teach students in the after school program
• Support a school-wide culture of high expectations
• Actively participate in professional development activities
• Demonstrate knowledge of Aspire Public Schools mission and policies
• Support students with toileting needs
