Job Description
The Maintenance Mechanic at AFS will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and preventative maintenance on all equipment throughout the mill operation. They will also be responsible for minimizing downtime by detecting potential mechanical and electrical problems. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work safely in elevated positions.
Requirements
- Troubleshooting and repair of equipment
- Knowledge of fabrication, electrical schematics, power transmission, and pneumatics
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as climbing stairs and working with heavy equipment.
