Job Description
Astera Labs is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to drive the development of data center connectivity solutions for hyperscalers in China. The role involves defining future product capabilities through expert system architecture, PCIe/CXL/UALink/Ethernet technologies, AI Fabrics, and hardware-software co-design. The architect will engage directly with customers, developing solutions to improve data center performance and scalability.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical or computer engineering, MS or PhD preferred
- ≥10 years' experience developing high-speed connectivity, fabric, and switching solutions for data centers
- Strong understanding of chip design principles and architecture
- Strong understanding of AI datacenter system architecture and design challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel
