Senior Business Developer /Teamleiter Erneuerbare Energien - Schwerpunkt Windenergie (m/w/d)

atmosfair is seeking a Senior Business Developer / Team Leader with a focus on Renewable Energies, specifically Wind Energy. The role involves developing renewable energy projects in developing countries (Africa, Asia, and South America) to reduce CO2 emissions and contribute to the Paris Climate Agreement. This includes identifying locations, developing projects, building a project pipeline, securing financing, leading a team, and collaborating with stakeholders. The position offers a meaningful contribution to climate protection within a non-profit organization.

Requirements

• An above-average degree in natural sciences or engineering – preferably in renewable energies or industrial engineering.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the development, construction, and management of projects in the field of renewable energies and climate protection - preferably in the field of wind energy.
• A large network of technology providers and project developers in the field of renewable energies.
• Several years of experience in leading small to medium-sized teams.
• Expertise and commitment in the field of environmental and/or development policy.
• Negotiable knowledge of German and English; additional foreign languages are an advantage.
• Readiness to travel (approx. four times a year for approx. one week to our project countries).
