The FP&A Financial Analyst is part of a team responsible for designing and implementing processes that promote the long-term planning and analysis of Audax Private Equity, its affiliates, and its principals. The candidate will assist the company’s principals in making management decisions by working with various departments and external managers to develop integrated plans and budgets, as well as developing the systems driving the decision making.
Requirements
- Updating existing and creating multivariable models outlining PE Business Unit P&Ls, cash flows, and capital requirements
- Running sensitivity and scenario analyses, which include tax impacts, around model inputs
- Updating projections based on actual data obtained from systems
- Tracing the impact of company level performance, cash flows, and balance sheet items to the principals’ personal positions
- Developing and conveying executive level summaries and recommendations as needed
- Executing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages
- Updating sale proceeds waterfalls for individual investments as well as funds, including estimates of carried interest
- Assisting in responses to fundraising and investor requests
- Compiling performance and holdings reporting
- Documenting as-is work-flow and offer recommendations on efficiency improvements
