Job Description
The Aurora Meldreth Manor School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students aged 6-19 with diverse learning needs, including autism, ADHD, and complex medical conditions. This role involves providing high-quality support in a supportive learning environment, fostering equality and diversity, and contributing to student development for adults in the local community. The school offers a specialist learning environment and therapeutic team.
Requirements
- Willing and able to work towards formal qualifications, attend training and take responsibility for own development.
- Passionate about children and young people with additional needs.
- Ambitious and determined to overcome barriers to learning.
- Committed to our safeguarding values and procedures.
- Proactive and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Eduated to at least level 2 (or equivalent) Maths and English.
- Valid DBS Check
