As an L2 IT Field Engineer, you will deliver on-site technical support for IT infrastructure components, including desktops, laptops, servers, storage systems, and network equipment.
Requirements
- Provide on-site technical assistance for desktops and laptops, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Carry out regular server maintenance, including replacement of hard drives, PSUs, DIMMs, and cache modules.
- Support SAN/NAS storage systems and related hardware.
- Configure, install, and troubleshoot network devices including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
- Manage and maintain Cisco routers and switches, ensuring peak performance and uptime.
- Perform installation and cabling of servers, switches, and other IT hardware within racks.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all hardware, network configurations, and asset movements.
- Provide L2-level assistance to end users and site staff as required.
- Be available for scheduled on-call duties and respond promptly to critical IT incidents or outages.
