Job Description
This Banquet Captain position involves overseeing and assisting with the set up, service, and cleanup of all assigned banquet functions. The role requires a high level of hospitality, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient hotel environment. The supervisor will also ensure compliance with various state liquor laws and company policies.
Requirements
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
- Comply with Avion Hospitality standards.
- Supervise and assist with the set-up of assigned catered functions.
- Respond to guests’ problems, complaints and accidents.
- Assist with banquet set-up.
- Inspect the sanitation of all function space and storage areas.
- Follow all state liquor laws.
- Understand banquet menus and prices.
- Know hotel services and facilities.
- Enforce all hotel policies and safety rules.
