Legal Wording Counsel (m/w/d)

We are seeking an ambitious and development-oriented individual as a Legal Wording Counsel to join our Global Wordings Team. As part of the team, you will be integrated into the Legal Department of Germany and Northern Europe and support the underwriting process for all product lines, covering a wide range of complex risks.

Requirements

• Analyze and review existing products (insurance contracts), new products, and competitors' products
• Develop and innovate new insurance products from scratch or refine or expand existing products
• Collaborate with colleagues from the entire Wording Team, the Legal Department, and beyond
• Observe legal developments relevant to our insurance contracts and derive independent wording changes and other recommendations
• Support Underwriters in maintaining their internal rules and highlight potential dangers from newly emerging risks
• Governance and contract security: ensure contract security and compliance with governance in reviewing contract terms
• Clear and regular communication with Underwriting Teams and understanding of their business, needs, and requirements
• Representation of the insurer in contract negotiations and association representation
