Job Description
The Housing Navigator HUDVASH provides support to homeless veterans, homeless individuals, and their families by coordinating with various programs, building relationships with landlords, assisting with housing, and ensuring access to safe, affordable housing. This is a full-time, on-site position in the portages, summit or starks locations. The role is flexible, offering the position in office or on-site.
Requirements
- Knowledge of human service community
- Knowledge of Landlord/Tenant Laws and Regulations
- Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving
- Willingness to learn and apply best practice models as appropriate
