Job Description
The Housing Navigator provides supportive services for veterans facing housing challenges, building relationships with landlords and assisting clients with securing and maintaining safe, affordable housing. The role involves a case-by-case basis and ensures clients access permanent housing, and acts as a liaison between tenant and landlord.
Requirements
- Build and establish working relationships with landlords
- Develop outreach materials and agreements with landlords
- Match prospective tenant with appropriate rental housing
- Maintain landlord relationships and keep current database of contacts
- Coordinate with landlord and prospective tenant
