IT Platform Cloud Engineer

This contract position is for a Cloud Engineer to join the team in Coimbra, Portugal. The role involves developing and maintaining the IT platform, automating infrastructure, and utilizing cloud services. Candidates with 5-7 years of experience in automation or DevOps roles are preferred, with proficiency in scripting/programming languages and understanding of cloud infrastructure. The position requires both in-office time and occasional travel to Coimbra/Castelo Branco.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of experience as a Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Automation Specialist, or DevOps engineer.
• 5+ years of experience with scripting and/or programming languages.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Cloudformation).
• Knowledge and experience with (hybrid) cloud services (e.g. AWS EC2, RDS, ECS, ELB, Lambda and Nutanix).
• Experience with containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with Git and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Linux system administration knowledge is a plus.
• Proactive approach to exploring new technologies and implementing solutions.
