The Employment Counsel will be the primary legal advisor on all employment matters for a dynamic, global company, providing strategic guidance to the People Team, executive management, and various departments globally.
Requirements
- Provide direct, day-to-day legal counsel on a wide range of employment matters, including hiring, performance management, accommodations, leaves, and terminations across multiple jurisdictions (US and globally).
- Manage and oversee all employment litigation and agency complaints, encompassing strategy development, outside counsel coordination, case management, and executive reporting.
- Draft, review, and update essential employment documentation, including Offer Letters, Proprietary Information and Inventions Assignment Agreements (PIIAAs), policies, and employee handbooks.
- Advise and collaborate with Human Resources and management on employee relations issues and workplace investigations, providing specific risk assessments and legal recommendations.
