Job Description
BAART Programs is seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to dispense prescribed medications as part of a treatment team. The role involves dispensing medications, maintaining equipment, managing inventory, and reporting treatment information. The candidate collaborates with a supervisory counseling staff and values non-judgmental acceptance of patients in the context of substance use disorders.
Requirements
- Current & good standing Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the State of Kansas
- Current CPR certification
- EMR & computer proficiency (desired)
- Experience in chemical dependency preferred, self-motivated and directed, must have a positive attitude toward individuals in substance abuse treatment
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check
