Senior Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer to join our team at Cavendish Nuclear. As a trusted expert, you'll design safety-critical systems and collaborate with engineering disciplines to resolve complex design challenges. With a focus on innovation and quality, you'll drive continuous improvement and accelerate your career development in the defence, aerospace and engineering sector.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering control, electrical and instrumentation safety system design in a highly regulated environment
• Strong working knowledge of IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 standards
• Experience of the nuclear functional safety lifecycle, including SIL determination and verification
• Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with safety case teams and technical stakeholders
• Experience conducting technical investigations and resolving complex engineering issues
• Degree-level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline
• Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards professional registration is desirable
• Security Clearance (SC)
