Job Description
As Engineering Manager, this role focuses on leading, coaching, and developing cross-functional teams of software engineers within Backbase. The role involves translating between product and engineering, ensuring alignment with company goals, and helping teams deliver high-quality software. Responsibilities include driving strategy, supporting individual growth, and ensuring team success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or similar experience
- 7+ years of hands-on software development/engineering experience
- 2+ years of experience in leading multi-disciplinary Agile development teams
- Good knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum or Kanban)
- Strong understanding of technical practices (CI, testing, release management)
- Excellent English skills
