The Inventory Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing efficient movement and cycle counting of material from receiving to the warehouse to production. This position requires creativity, experience, and judgement to effectively carry out material departmental objects.
Requirements
- High School diploma with 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment performing related work
- Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and mathematical skills
- Physically able to walk long distances and lift up to 35lbs.
- Experienced using Oracle Applications or related ERP System
- Proficiency in use of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with a proficiency in English
- Good planning, time management, and organization skills
- A fundamental understanding of constraints such as space, capacities, and materials movement
- Demonstrated understanding of material presentation and flow
- Maintains a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies
- Shares responsibility of self-development with immediate supervisor
- The willingness and ability to work with others
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule as required
