Painter

BAE Systems is seeking a Painter to join their team in Jacksonville, Florida. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing surface preparation and coating application operations, including high pressure washing, solvent cleaning, and painting.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of procedures
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability
• Ability to follow directions
• Thorough knowledge of equipment used in surface preparation and coating application operations
• Ability to interpret job specifications, instruction manuals, and manufacturer’s handbooks
• Compliance with Company safety rules and OSHA standards
• Physical and medical qualification to wear required personal protective equipment
• Ability to handle hazardous materials/waste in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
