Project Mgr III - Tech

BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to manage complex, enterprise impacting IT programs within our Information Technology Organization. The PM will be responsible for end to end execution of IT projects; IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, compliance projects on the cloud or on-premises.

Requirements

• Strong project management experience managing large complex projects or multiple concurrent projects
• Business case development
• Effective leadership and program & project execution
• Proactive risk identification and mitigation
• Resource management including guiding and motivating team members
• Cost breakdown structure, cost estimation, cost management throughout the project lifecycle including management of cost overrun/underrun
• Vendor relationship management including working with third-party systems integrators
• Organizational change management, communication, training, stakeholder engagement, enablement
• Effective customer ownership, customer centricity
• Effective leadership of program / project execution, program/project success
• Hands-on experience with agile project execution, release agility
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Detail oriented, organized, disciplined
• Proactive, problem solving skills, innovative, change champion
• Business and strategic plan development
• Project finance management experience
• Executive level communication and presentation skills
• Learning agility, relentless improvement mindset
• Expertise in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
