Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Control Systems Project Lead to join our Mining team, based out of Saskatoon, SK. As a Senior Control Systems Project Lead, you will lead control system design and implementation for an ABB 800xA DCS, develop and maintain control philosophies, narratives, and functional design specifications, and ensure control designs align with operational needs, lifecycle expectations, and site standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Control Systems, or related discipline.
- 12+ years of experience in industrial control systems engineering.
- Hands-on experience leading ABB 800xA projects, including architecture and system design.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively across programming groups, project teams, and vendors.
- Experience working in brownfield and live operating facilities.
- Requires professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation.
- Experience coordinating OT networking and system interties.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity and infrastructure considerations in control systems.
- Prior experience acting as technical authority or design lead.
