Job Description
Banyan Software is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to manage corporate income and sales tax for software companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US corporate tax and experience in Canada, collaborate with finance and legal teams, and perform tax planning and due diligence. This is a high-growth position within a fast-paced, acquisitive software consolidation environment.
Requirements
- CPA accounting designation
- 7+ years of US corporate tax experience
- 5+ years of preparing consolidated US federal and multi-state combined income tax returns and provisions
- Calculating tested income and GILTI for CFCs and preparing Forms 5471
- Preparing pre- and post-acquisition short-period income tax returns
- Reviewing non-complex US Partnership and S Corporation income tax returns
- Reviewing working capital adjustments and purchase price accounting
- Performing M&A tax planning and due diligence procedures
- Experience collaborating with finance and legal teams
- Strong accounting knowledge and experience
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
