Barnard College invites nominations and applications for the next Constance Hess Williams ‘66 Director and Assistant Vice President of the Athena Center for Leadership. The Director and AVP will lead the strategic direction and narrative of the Athena Center, focusing on women’s leadership and student development.

Requirements

• Develop and lead the strategic direction and narrative of the Athena Center
• Lead a dynamic team of professionals
• Design and lead programmatic initiatives focused on women’s leadership, entrepreneurship, and innovation
• Oversee the continuous evolution of core initiatives
• Partner with other campus leaders to ensure leadership development is a core element of the student experience at Barnard
• Engage alumnae in mentoring and guiding students
• Build and maintain robust relationships with essential stakeholders
• Provide exemplary management of people at all levels
• Oversee the Center’s budget and manage financial resources

Benefits

• Generous salary range: $185,000 - $190,000 annually
