Graduate Assistant, Access Barnard

The Graduate Assistant (GA) will assist with projects and events in support of students who identify as first-generation, lower income, and/or international. The GA will plan and execute Access Barnard programming initiatives and special events, including social gatherings such as study breaks and developmental workshops (academic, personal, career).

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program (MA, PhD, etc.)
• Prior experience advising or working with youth, preferably in higher education
• Special sensitivity to concerns of students of diverse backgrounds
