Job Description
Barnes Aerospace is seeking an experienced HR Leader to join its dynamic, growing global company as the Senior HR Business Partner for our Newton Abbot business.
Requirements
- 2 years+ experience as a Senior HR professional ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Skilled negotiator with previous experience of Trade Union negotiations
- Proven knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Commercial acumen
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or other related field
- Proven track-record of influencing and driving change
- Strategic thought leadership coupled with a passion for developing and growing business acumen
- Ability to connect and align HR strategy with business priorities
- Demonstrated experience in leading HR teams
- Ability to build effective relationships at all levels
- Strong ability to coach and mentor talent
- Experience in recruiting & staffing
- Comfortable working in a constantly changing environment … adaptability & flexibility are critical
- Proven ability to stand up for your convictions and influence leaders
