Technical Service Specialist - Automotive Refinish - Houston, TX

We are looking for a Technical Service Specialist to join our Automotive Refinish team in Houston, TX. As a Technical Service Specialist - Automotive Refinish - Houston, TX, you will work with Body Shop and Distribution organizations to develop and apply products, provide training, and support the sales team. You will create chemistry by being responsible for the technical success of BASF's automotive refinish products, working on coating technologies, training and developing customers, leading new product and customer demonstrations, and participating in the technical aspects of the sales process.

Requirements

• HS Diploma (or equivalent) coupled with relevant experience
• At least 10 years of industry experience preferably as a Refinish Technician
• Strong understanding of competitive products and tools
• Proficient with BASF's current Automotive Refinish products and technology tools
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Office tools to lead presentations
• CRM expertise is a plus
