Plant Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a mechanically skilled and safety-conscious Plant Maintenance Mechanic to support the operation and upkeep of large, non-mobile equipment in an outdoor environment.

Requirements

• Perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on quarry processing equipment
• Assist with the installation of new equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly and determine effective solutions
• Use plasma cutters, oxygen-acetylene torches, and MIG/Stick welders for fabrication and repairs
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols, MSHA regulations, and company policies
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Be adaptable and willing to cross-train in other maintenance tasks and roles
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth and safe operations
• Prioritize safety at all times, promoting a “Safety First” culture
