Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to support patients through medically assisted treatments and provide techniques to manage opioid addiction. The counselor will facilitate individual and group sessions, evaluate patient progress, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
Requirements
- Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Behavioral Science
- Substance abuse counseling experience preferred
- Must demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward patients
- Understanding of an EMR system (electronic medical records)
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check
