Job Description
BDO is seeking a Managing Director in Transaction Advisory Services to advise clients on U.S. federal income tax issues. This role will serve as the primary client contact for technical tax work, including structuring, restructuring, and analysis. The Managing Director will also drive innovation in Section 382 tax analyses and improve the firm's deliverables and practices. They will also be involved in marketing, networking and business development in a specialized area of tax.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, required; major in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics, preferred
- Ten or more years of prior relevant tax experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting, or legal experience in three or more of the areas listed below, required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, preferred
- Experience with tax research databases, including Checkpoint, Bloomberg, and CCH Intelliconnect, preferred
