The IT Support & Infrastructure Specialist reports directly to the Manager of IT Infrastructure & User Support. This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, including network devices, servers, and end-user systems.
Requirements
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and end-user devices.
- Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Assist with network troubleshooting, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and configurations for hardware and software.
- Perform user account management, including permissions, access control, and security configurations.
- Assist in IT asset management, including tracking and maintaining hardware inventory.
- Provide technical support for production printers (MFPs & label printers) and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Support IT security initiatives, including endpoint protection, access controls, and security awareness training.
- Perform cable management, including terminating Ethernet cables per the T-568B standard.
- Document infrastructure procedures and best practices to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.
- Work on IT projects, such as system migrations, hardware deployments, and infrastructure improvements.
