Job Description
Belong Health is seeking a mission-driven Physician Leader to refine and lead clinical care delivery programs for Medicare Advantage and Special Needs Plan products. This role involves overseeing virtual and home-based medical groups, driving risk adjustment and quality performance, and fostering physician engagement in a dynamic start-up environment. The ideal candidate will be a builder, strategist, and operator who thrives in a fast-paced, value-based care setting.
Requirements
- MD/DO license and board certification (internal medicine, primary care, family medicine, emergency medicine, or geriatrics)
- 5+ years of clinical experience, including leadership of a medical group
- Experience with value-based care models (ACO, Medicare Advantage, or risk-bearing contracts)
- Proven ability to design and execute complex care delivery models
- Expertise in risk adjustment (HCC documentation) and HEDIS/Stars quality performance
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
