Job Description
Empowerment Academy Charter School is hiring a Dean of Students at one of our High School campuses for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a 12-month Leadership Position with a typical contract running from July 1 to June 30. The school is looking for a candidate with a minimum of five years of experience in a similar school environment, a NJ Teaching Certificate, and a commitment to the mission and goals of Empowerment Academy Community Charter School.
Requirements
- Implement and manage the school's uniform system of positive discipline at the academy
- Use age-appropriate behavior management tools
- Oversee academy staff training in behavior management policies, techniques, and strategies
- Serving as an expert resource to teachers on issues of scholar culture, classroom management, discipline, and relationships with scholars
