Job Description
BelovED Middle School Academy Dean position at BelovED Community Charter School in Jersey City, NJ, with responsibilities including leading the Middle School Academy, driving instructional vision, and providing coaching and feedback to teachers.
Requirements
- Minimum certification - Standard License from the NJ Department of Education
- Demonstrated expertise in the analysis of assessment data, the use of data to drive instruction, and the training of teachers to lead effective Professional Learning Community meetings
- Minimum seven years of teaching experience at the middle or high school level
- Experience as an education program leader at a high performing charter public school, traditional public school, or privately managed school
- Proven strengths in the area of teacher professional development and coaching
