Privacy Counsel

Bentley Systems is seeking a Privacy Counsel with a global outlook to join our growing Corporate Responsibility team within the Law and Corporate Advancement organization.

Requirements

• Provide day-to-day legal counsel on global privacy, data protection, and digital regulation matters.
• Draft and negotiate privacy, data protection, security, and AI-related terms in commercial contracts and disclosures.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders—including Legal, Product, Marketing, and IT, to advise on new and emerging digital regulations affecting software and cloud services.
• Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Bentley’s global privacy and AI compliance programs, policies, and documentation.
• Contribute to awareness and training initiatives that promote a culture of responsible data use across the company.
• Mentor and guide other team members with the scope to move into a people management role as the team grows to support the business.
• Stay informed of global developments in data protection, AI, and digital compliance to proactively advise the business.
