Electrical Engineer

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Ontario, Canada. As an Electrical Engineer, you will contribute to the engineering of electrical components of mine hoisting systems, lead small-to-medium scale projects, and develop engineering deliverables. You will also conduct site visits for inspections and data collection, and support project coordination across multiple active engagements. This role offers exposure to complex engineering tasks and opportunities to apply and expand your knowledge of mechanical systems in mining operations.

Requirements

• A degree in electrical engineering is required.
• 4+ years of related experience, though less may be considered.
• Registered with PEO, and holds a Professional Engineering License (P.Eng), or equivalent in Canada.
• Knowledge of industry best practices, codes, and regulations is required.
• Familiarity with Autodesk drafting and design software tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites applications.
• Intermediate project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high quality work.
