Intermediate Electrical Technologist

As an Intermediate Electrical Technologist, you will contribute to the design and documentation of mine hoisting systems, work closely with internal engineering teams, and support project coordination across multiple active engagements. You will be responsible for preparing detailed drafting designs, conducting site visits, and maintaining accurate technical records. You will also represent BESTECH professionally with clients, contractors, and suppliers, and communicate project updates to build positive client relationships.

Requirements

• A diploma in Electrical Engineering Technician/Technology or a related field is required.
• 4+ years of related experience, though less may be considered.
• Knowledge of industry codes and regulations is desirable.
• Familiarity with drafting and design software tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites applications.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high quality work.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and sustainable design practices.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Valid Passport Required, with the ability to travel in North America.
